Superbike Race Action
These are pics from the 1999 Superbike race at Loudon. A couple of the

At the start Gobert
had the lead followed by Chandler, E.Bostrom, Yates, Mladin, and B.Bostrom. |

Ben Bostrom got by
Mladin and started to goto work on his brother Eric. |
After Ben got by
Eric, Chandler got by Gobert. Then Ben pressured Gobert knowing he couldn't let Chandler
get away. |

| Picotte ran well on the Harley |
As did Russell |
Scott Russell comes by again finishing in
eleventh place |

| Picotte goes around slower traffic and
finished in ninth place |
Eric Bostrom did well on the Honda
crossing the line in sixth place |
Hacking comes by on the Yamaha eventually
finishing in fifth place |

| Here I tried to get both the Hooters bikes
in the same shot while they were still close eneough together, but it came out a little
blurry. |
Jamie Bowman tries his luck in the
Superbikes race on his Supersport spec bike. |
Bowman made a good showing nabbing 13th
place on his supersport machine. |

| Mat Mladin tried hard but
after catching Gobert he couldn't get by and ended up settling four a fourth place finish. |

| Ben Bostrom started to gain some ground on
Chandler in the middle of the race |
But Chandler pulled away from the him
getting through traffic better than Ben did |
Gobert struggled in third and could not
match Doug and Ben on this day |

| Doug Chandler kept a comfortable lead in
the closing stages of the race |
Doug Chandler had a convincing win which
made him and his team very happy |
It had been a while since the Kawasaki had
been on the top of the podium |

2. Ben Bostrom (Duc 996)
3. Anthony Gobert (Duc 996)
4. Mat Mladin (Suz GSXR750)
5. Jamie Hacking (Yam YZF-R7)
6. Eric Bostrom (Hon RC-45)
7. Steve Crevier (Suz GSXR750)
8. Pascal Picotte (H-D VR1000)
9. Larry Pegram (Duc 996)
10. Jason Pridmore (Suz GSXR750)
